  • What Our Clients Say About Us

We pride ourselves on providing a superior service but you don’t just have to take our word for it. Read what some of clients say about working with Nyke Energy.

  • In recent years I have used the services of Nyke Energy for the installation and maintenance of BMS control systems throughout the County.

I find their engineers very helpful, knowledgeable, conscientious and enthusiastic. Their work is excellent, and carried out with minimal disruption to their clients.

I would have no reservations of recommending them to prospective clients.

  • St Mary’s Bangor University was our first project with Nyke Energy Services and it has been a total success.

Nyke Energy supported our initial bid for the project and took an active part in developing the design.

Once on site we had an enjoyable experience as the project was installed and commissioned with no problems, we would have no hesitation in working with Nyke Energy again in the very near future.

  • Nyke Energy recently upgraded the Trend controls, which have been connected to the building intranet. It has been an invaluable tool in the day-to-day Legionella management of our domestic hot water system.

The system originally had just a DHWS (Domestic Hot Water) flow sensor, this was data logged, the print out of which forms part of my weekly report. The Legionella software control program they have installed can be clearly seen to operate on the graph of the data log and meets our requirements.

Nyke Energy suggested that it might be possible to reduce the flow setpoint slightly in order to save energy. I have to be careful as I have been advised to keep the return above 50 deg C to conform to Legionella protection. As part of my role I routinely insert a digital temperature probe under the insulation of the DHWS return and manually record the readings so I have a log of the return temperature.

As a recommendation, the Nyke Energy engineer suggested that a return temperature sensor could be installed and the software modified so that the DHWS is controlled from either the flow or the return temperature. We have proceeded with his recommendation and as a consequence the flow set point reduced by 5 deg C. This allows us to benefit from energy savings whilst still conforming to our legionella requirements. The data log from the return temperature sensor is now automatically generated which saves me a lot of time taking manual readings.
